The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef runs along its western coast — walls that drop hundreds of meters, consistent current that lets you drift effortlessly over coral gardens, and visibility that regularly exceeds 30 meters. Two dives, with the sites chosen for your certification level and the day’s conditions.

Cozumel’s current does the work. Drift along the reef wall at your own pace — sea turtles and eagle rays are often seen along the reef.

Cozumel offers many dive sites, from reef gardens to deeper walls, with Palancar and Santa Rosa among the best known. We choose your two sites according to your experience and the conditions of the day.

How much does Cozumel diving from Cancún cost?
The Cozumel trip with Vision Oceanos costs $320 USD per person. It includes 2 guided dives, BCD, regulator, mask, fins, tanks and weights, the ferry between Playa del Carmen and Cozumel, local transportation in Cozumel, the Cozumel marine park reef conservation contribution, water and snacks on board, and an SSI dive guide. Wetsuit rental is $10 USD extra, and a private van from Cancún is optional at $90 USD.
How do you get from Cancún to Cozumel for diving?
We drive about one hour from Cancún to Playa del Carmen, take the 40-minute ferry to Cozumel, and then a taxi from the ferry terminal to the pier, where our boat is waiting.
What time does the Cozumel dive trip start and finish?
We leave Cancún at 6:30 AM and are back at your hotel in Cancún at around 6:30 PM.
Do I need Advanced certification to dive Cozumel?
No. Open Water and Advanced divers both dive Cozumel with us. Different areas of the reef sit at different depths, and we always choose sites that match your certification and experience.
