FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who can dive with Vision Oceanos in Cancún?

Scuba diving requires good physical health. For safety, participants should not have asthma, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, heart conditions, or recent surgeries. All divers complete a medical questionnaire before diving, and anyone taking medication or with medical concerns should consult a doctor or contact Vision Oceanos on WhatsApp before booking.

Can I fly after diving?

To reduce the risk of decompression sickness, wait at least 12 hours after a dive up to 10 meters, 18 hours after multiple dives or multiple days of diving, and 24 hours after deep or decompression dives. Always follow your dive computer recommendations.

Why do I feel tired after scuba diving?

Feeling tired after diving is normal because diving combines physical effort, focus, and pressure changes. Stay hydrated, eat light, and rest between dives. If you experience unusual symptoms, inform your instructor immediately.

Can I dive more than once a day?

Yes, you can safely do multiple dives per day as long as you respect the required surface interval. Your instructor and dive computer will indicate how long to wait between dives.

Do you offer underwater photos and videos?

Vision Oceanos offers professional photo and video services for reef dives and MUSA dives. Contact us on WhatsApp to ask about media packages.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

Cancellations more than 48 hours before the dive receive a full refund. Within 48 hours the booking is non-refundable but may be rescheduled once. No-shows are not eligible for refunds. If Vision Oceanos cancels due to weather or safety, you may choose a refund or new date. SSI courses are non-refundable once e-learning is issued.

COMMON QUESTIONS

BEFORE YOU DIVE

01WHO CAN DIVE?

Scuba diving requires good physical health. For your safety, participants must not suffer from asthma, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, heart conditions, or recent surgeries. A short medical questionnaire is completed before every dive. If you take medication or have medical concerns, please consult a doctor or contact us on WhatsApp before booking.

02CAN I FLY AFTER DIVING?

To reduce the risk of decompression sickness, wait before flying:

  • 12 hours after a dive up to 10 meters (33 ft)
  • 18 hours after multiple dives or multiple days of diving
  • 24 hours after deep or decompression dives

Always follow your dive computer’s recommendations and allow extra rest time when possible.

03WHY DO I FEEL TIRED AFTER DIVING?

Diving combines exercise, focus, and pressure adaptation. Feeling tired after a dive is completely normal — it’s your body adjusting. Stay hydrated, eat light, and rest between dives. If you experience dizziness or unusual fatigue, notify your instructor immediately.

04CAN I DIVE MORE THAN ONCE A DAY?

Yes. Multiple dives per day are safe when you respect your surface interval — the time needed to release nitrogen before the next dive. Your instructor or dive computer will tell you the minimum wait time required.

05DO YOU OFFER PHOTOS AND VIDEO?

Yes. We offer a professional photo and video service as an add-on to any dive — reef dives, MUSA, cenotes, or Cozumel. A dedicated media specialist captures your experience so your guide stays focused on your safety. See the Photo & Video service → or ask us on WhatsApp. From $60 USD.

06WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

We provide all dive equipment: BCD, regulator, mask, fins, wetsuit (rental), and tanks. You should bring: swimwear, a change of clothes, sunscreen (reef-safe preferred), a towel, and a valid ID. Leave valuables at the hotel.

07HOW DO I GET THERE?

We are located at Aquafun Marina, Boulevard Kukulcán Km 16.261, Zona Hotelera, Cancún.
