What Our Divers Say About Vision Oceanos

Quick FAQs – Getting Ready for Your Dive Experience

Getting here is easy. Uber operates smoothly in Cancún’s Hotel Zone and is usually more affordable than taxis. You can also take public transportation — buses run all along the Hotel Zone for approximately $12 MXN. We are located inside a 3.5-star beachfront hotel, making access safe and convenient.

If you’re prone to seasickness, we strongly recommend taking motion sickness tablets before boarding. This helps you stay comfortable and fully enjoy your diving experience.

No. The Marine Park entrance and dock tax are government-mandated fees and are not included in our service prices. These contributions go directly toward the protection and conservation of Cancún’s reefs and marine ecosystems.

Yes — diving is available almost all year. We only pause operations during storms or unsafe weather. Our team monitors ocean and weather conditions daily to ensure safe, high-quality dive days.

Arrive on time, hydrated, and ready for ocean conditions. Bring swimwear, towel, lunchbox, and any personal medication you may need for the boat ride.

All our dive experiences are designed to be all-inclusive. However, there are two items not included in some programs:

• Marine Park Conservation Fee — $10 USD This government-mandated fee supports the protection and conservation of Cancún’s coral reefs. It applies to Certified Divers and Discover Scuba Diving programs.

• Wetsuit Rental — $10 USD Optional rental available if you prefer additional thermal protection.

For Certification Courses, everything is included — no additional fees apply.

Both are amazing, but Cancun offers unique experiences like the MUSA (Underwater Museum of Art) and shallower, vibrant reefs perfect for longer bottom times and beginners. Cancun is also more convenient if you are staying in the Hotel Zone, saving you the travel time to the island.
