Within a short boat ride from our base at Aquafun Marina you reach coral reefs, an underwater sculpture museum and two navy shipwrecks, and the cenotes of the Yucatán are an easy drive away.
These are the sites we dive every week, chosen by our instructors for the day’s conditions and for your experience level. Every dive is guided in small groups by our own SSI professionals.

GOOD TO KNOW
DIVE SITE QUESTIONS
Which Cancún dive site is best for beginners?
MUSA. Its sculptures sit in the calm, shallow water of Cancún Bay, which makes it the site we choose for Try Scuba and the first ocean dives of the Open Water Diver course.
Do I choose the dive sites?
Tell us what you would like to see and we will plan around it. Our instructors make the final choice each morning based on the day’s conditions and the experience of the group.
What certification do I need for the shipwrecks?
Advanced Adventurer or higher. The wrecks rest at 24 meters, beyond the limit of an Open Water Diver certification.
